Following are the Public/Private Sector Authorised Banks for collection Central Excise Service Tax through e-Banking.

Now w.e.f. from 01-1o-2014 it is mandatory to make payment of Excise Duty and Service Tax by electronically. Electronic Accounting System in Excise and Service Tax (EASIEST) is a web based payment gateway launched by CBEC enabling assesees to pay Central Excise duties and Service Tax online. W.e.f. 01-10-2014, it is mandatory to effect  payment  of  central  excise  duty  /  service  tax  electronically through internet  banking for all Central Excise and Service Tax Assessees except in exceptional cases to be recorded by Divisional Assistant / Deputy Commissioners. (Notification No.  19/2014 -Central Excise (N.T.) and Notification No. 9/2014 – S.T. both dated  11th  July, 2014)

E-Banking facilitates online payment of Excise Duty and Service Tax by an Assessee. To avail this facility the Assessee is required to have a net-banking account with any of the banks listed below.
